New in September 2006. HiBORE Hybrid's most obvious feature is the inverted crown design, which moves weight lower in the head to make the ball easier to get airborne. Easy-to-hit club, low profile visual appearance with a larger, more forgiving hitting area.

Cleveland HiBORE Hybrid Features :

• Constructed from 17-4 stainless steel with a Custom 455 Carpenter Steel face.

• Inverted crown design moves weight lower, making it easier to get the ball up in the air.

• Neutral weighting profile (not draw / fade bias).

• By employing Thin Crown Technology, Cleveland designers were able to take 15% more weight from the crown and reposition it in areas of greater benefit around the rear perimeter.

• Tour-inspired face profile creates confidence at address with a 10% larger face area. The size of the sweetspot is increased.

• By centering optimum performance on the face, off-center hits (both high/low and toe/heel) become more consistent and less penalizing.

• Parabolic leading edge progressively tapers from the face to the sole instead of the sharper curve that is typically seen in hybrid designs. Creates effective bounce that prevents digging and allows the clubhead to easily slide across the turf at impact.
