Ping G5 Fairway Woods
Ping Golf is introducing in September 2005 its G5 Series. It is the first time in 46 years that Ping is launching clubs in all categories under one name simultaneously. The new series includes drivers, fairway woods, hybrids (november 2005), irons and putters. Ping also is introducing the i5 iron, a mid-sized club head with reduced offset.

Ping G5 Fairway Woods Feature :

• Rocker sole helps keep the club face square during impact for more accurate shots from different types of lies.

• Robotic plasma welding process saves weight which is redistributed throughout the club head to improve stability, forgiveness and control.

• Larger head size and improved weight placement creates a high moment of inertia for even more stability, forgiveness and control.

• Thin, high strength 455 stainless steel face is precisely machined for increased performance, including higher ball speed for increased distance, better sound and a "hotter" feel.

• Robotic plasma welding produces very accurate and consistent welds, which improve the consistency and durability of the face.

• Internal weight pad placement varies with the loft of the club.

• Creates optimum spin and lift, giving the golfer greater control and accuracy with the higher lofted woods.

• Provides increased distance with the lower lofted woods.

• Aldila NV75 Graphite Shaft : Exclusive Micro Laminate Technology offers the better player enhanced performance and feel. The consistent taper and slim profile produces a shaft with consistence performance, flex, and feel from the butt-end to the tip. Torque : 2.8. Weight : 78 gr. Available in Regular, Stiff & X-Stiff Flexes.

• Grafalloy ProLaunch 75 Graphite Shaft : Excellent choice for quicker swing tempos. Optimal weight for use in fairway woods. Torque 2.9. Weight : 75-78 gr (X-Stiff). Available in Regular, Stiff & X-Stiff Flexes.

• Ping 703 Tear Drop grip has a tacky feel for positive control of the golf club.
