New in September 2006. The combination of a 17-4 stainless steel body, tungsten nickel sole plate and 475 super steel face in the Rapture Hybrids raise performance to new levels of distance, forgiveness and control.

Ping Rapture Left-Handed Hybrid Features :

• The heavy, tungsten nickel sole plate positions the center of gravity low and away from the face for higher launch and lower spin, resulting in in high, penetrating trajectories for longer, softer landing approach shots.

• The three-piece design maximizes the performance properties of each material (tungsten nickel, 475 super steel and 17-4 stainless steel) to produce higher launching, longer carrying approach shots.

• Stainless steel body is engineered for control and forgiveness

• A large, forgiving head and trailing edge relief design provides control from any turf condition.

• The thin, super steel face provides a hot, responsive hitting area for added distance.

• The sloped crown aids in increasing the launch angle and reducing spin.
