Taylor Made R7 425 Driver
New in December 2005. The r7 425 drivers have four movable weights, just like the r7 Quad. But these drivers have the weights pushed farther apart to increase forgiveness and clubhead stability. The r7 425 also features a Fujikura shaft called the REAX which is designed to help keep the shaft from deforming - and losing energy - during the swing.

Taylor Made R7 425 Driver Features :

• TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC) allows you to easily switch between weighted cartridges. By installing different-weighted cartridges in different configurations in TLC ports effectively shifts the center of gravity toward the front or the back or toward the heel or toe. Permits players to maximize length and accuracy by dialing in the launch conditions that work best with their individual swing characteristics.

• Pull-Face construction permits a light, thin, strong clubface that promotes fast ball speed for increased distance. Inverted Cone Technology expands the portion of the clubface that delivers high COR for longer drives.

• 425cc clubhead with a slightly closed clubface for increased confidence and accuracy. Ultra-Thin Wall Technology permits clubhead walls measuring 0.6 mm, 25% thinner than r7 quad and r5 dual drivers. Exceptional head-size contributes to exceptionally high moment of inertia for phenomenal forgiveness on off-center hits.

• Two 12-gram and two 2-gram cartridges : Widely spaced TLC ports makes possible broad center of gravity movements toward the toe or heel. Empowers golfers to choose from 6 sets of launch conditions. Shot shape movement of up to 13 yards to promote your straightest and longest drives (30% improvement over the r7).

• TLC Torque Wrench : Created specifically to install and remove cartridges. Wrench is self-limiting to prevent over-tightening the cartridge. Emits a loud click, alerting the user that the cartridge is sufficiently tight.

• TLC Trajectory Wheel : Designed to clearly show which TLC cartridges are required and how they should be configured to promote each of the potential trajectories that the r7 425 is designed to deliver.
